M audio usb uno driver4/21/2023 In my humble opinion, Microsoft deserves some blame too, for perpetuating this upgrade merry-go-round. The real disappointment is that I used this DAW for years, never knowing how crippled it was by those gosh-awful MIDI drivers. Once uninstalled from my DAW, Sonar's latency and reliability improved dramatically - it was like having a brand new computer. It wasn't until I dumped the MIDISport for a MOTU MIDI Timepiece AV that I realized just how kludgy the MIDISport drivers really were. That is, they came, but never worked properly, neither for the USB nor serial ports. I purchased a USB MIDISport 8x8/S back in the Windows 2000 days and waited years - yes, YEARS - for Windows XP drivers that never really came. Win7 64bit is great and I can record again on a better set-up.with a Cakewalk audio interface being the weakest link.for awhile.Īlright.driver for GI-20 today so one less in the trash pile.ĭon't waste your time waiting for MIDISport drivers. Sorry for the long post but I figured it would make you feel better LOL.Īnd hey.I'm happy. ( my advice.don't use a USB audio interface) I'm certain it will be in the trash pile very soon. If I didn't need the Cakewalk UA 101 that replaced the 1820 I'd trash it. But I found out while I was there I wasn't alone. Line6 does have a driver that seems to work for some.but crashed my PC and found out that all my customer information has been deleted from their site! Purchase history, registered equipment.the only thing left is my e-mail and name.what a fantastic company. Saves on the nerves too. ( of course I understand that some can't throw 2 grand worth of equipment in a trash pile) My deal is that it's a pile of junk now not worth selling.at least I don't want my name attached to it now.Į-MU 1820- Line6 UX2 - M-Audio Axiom 61- Roland GI-20. It's really cheaper for me to replace than to waste my time. My workaround for drivers is that I've made a trash pile because I don't want the frustration.
